Stacey's bears are sold through eBay --each bear is auctioned. The best way to stay informed about new bear auctions is to sign up for this site’s e-mailing list (bottom of this page). People who are on the e-mailing list are the first to be notified once new auctions start.
 

After a bear is completed, it is readied for auction. Photos of new bears are placed on the "New!" section of this site. At least one big bear and one mini bear are usually created for each round of auctions... often more bears are created, but there's usually something for both big-bear collectors and mini-bear collectors. Once enough bears are ready for auction, they will be listed on eBay at around the same time. As soon as the auctions start, everyone who has signed up for the e-mail announcements list will receive an e-mail to let them know that there are some bears for sale.

Sometimes bears are listed with BIN (Buy It Now) and sold within minutes, so be fast if you decide to bid on a bear. On request, a bears’s auction will be listed without BIN --if you see a bear who has an upcoming auction and you want to make sure someone else can't buy it right after the auction is listed, just let me know and I will put the bear up in an auction without BIN so you are sure to have an opportunity to place a bid. Links to the auctions are also usually added to the front page of this site, once the auctions have been listed.

Can I Place an Order for a Bear or Buy at a Show?
These bears are only sold on eBay --orders cannot be accepted for bears due to a limited amount of bear-making time and the ease of working without the demand of orders. Perhaps, in the future, the bears will travel to a small number of shows. If that happens, it will be announced on this site and to the e-mail announcement list in advance.

Are The Bears in The Gallery Section For Sale?
No. All of the bears in the galleries have either been sold, given away, or swapped for other artists' bears. Bears that are being auctioned now or in the near future, will be displayed in the "New!" section of this site.

Which UserID Does Stacey Use to Sell Bears?

How Can I Find the Artist Bear Section of eBay?
At any given time, hundreds of artist bears can be found in eBay's Artist Offerings subcategory, which can be accessed here: http://listings.ebay.com/aw/listings/newly/all/category3904/index.html. When Stacey's bears are listed for auction, they are usually placed in that subcategory, too.

How Often Are e-Mails Sent For New Bears On This Site?
There is not a set calendar for e-mail announcements. In 2000, 3 announcements were mailed. In 2001, 8 announcements were mailed. So far, in 2002, 3 announcements have been mailed. An announcement is sent each time bears are posted for auction. Out of respect for your time, the number of e-mails sent is kept to a minimum --that's why multiple bears are always finished before an announcement is e-mailed. On the main page of this site (the "New!" section), a date is listed near the e-mail sign-up box. That date communicates when the most recent e-mail was sent to the announcement list. That can help you determine whether you have received the most recent announcement. Once a person is signed up on the mailing list, that person will remain on the mailing list unless/until s/he asks to be removed or until that person’s e-mail address becomes invalid. Privacy is respected and names are neither leased nor sold to other entities.

Can I Swap for One of These Bears?
I use to swap bears with other artists, but due to how few bears I make, I am not able to take on any new bear swapping commitments at this time. Once in awhile, I will join a swap through one of the bear clubs, but even that is more rare than it use to be.
